Prerequisite: Intro to Sewing: Machine Basics or equivalent experience.
In this class, you will learn all about zippers and one of the ways they can be added to a sewing project. You will build on the sewing lessons you gained in the Intro to Sewing: Machine Basics, learn about the different feet that make it easy to put in a zipper, and come away with a finished zippered tote bag that you can customize!
People ages 9 and up are welcome to take this class (under 18 must have permission from and paperwork signed by a parent or guardian). Responsible kids may use the sewing machine with adult supervision. Anyone 16 or older is welcome to use the machine on their own.
