STORAGE AT MAKER WORKS
Requirements for Storage
In order to keep things organized, fair, and accessible, we have a few requirements before you can store items. You must:
Have active membership.
Have a credit card on file with us.
Sign a storage agreement [LINK COMING] that outlines the automatic charging, liability, etc.
How do I start storage?
Talk to the front desk. We can review the options and set you up.
Storage Options
OVERNIGHT GLUE UP
Where: Woodshop ‘Glue Up Table’
Map: Pink in the above diagram
Intent: Storage of your glue up while it cures/dries overnight
Cost: Free
Size: Variable
Time limit: One day (24 hours)

Where: Member Storage Hallway and Woodshop Opposite Panel Saw

Intent: Storing small works in progress
Cost: $3 / day, $15 / week, $45 / month
Size: Approximately 2’ x 2’ x 8’, and 2’ x 3’ x 8’
Billing frequency options: Daily, Weekly, Monthly
Plywood storage
Where: Near loading dock
Map: Blue in the above diagram
Intent: Storing 4’ x 8’ sheets of plywood
Cost: $15 / week, $45 / month
Size: Approximately 8” x 4’ x 8’
Billing frequency options: Weekly, Monthly.
CLOSET STORAGE
Where: Member Storage Hallway
Map: Orange in the above diagram
Intent: Storing works in progress, materials, and/or personal tools
Cost: $30 / week, $100 / month
Size: Approximately 2’ x 6’ x 8’
Billing frequency options: Weekly, Monthly
STUDIO/OFFICE SPACE
Where: Throughout the shops
Map: Grey in the above diagram
Intent: Private studio space
Cost: $300 - $600 / month
Size: 100 - 200 sq. ft.

LARGE OBJECT STORAGE
Where: Varies; Loading Dock if no other availability

Intent: Short-term storage for projects too large for our available options
Cost: $2 per square foot

Time limit: Up to ten days

Alternative Way to Pay for Storage
Consider doing some of the job board items to help keep the shop clean and organized. We would be happy to compensate for your storage in exchange.
