The Epilog Fusion Edge is one of the most capable laser systems available to artists, educators, engineers, makers, and small businesses. It’s one of our most popular tools, and you can learn to use it! This machine is great for engraving and cutting a wide range of materials: wood, plastic, paper, fabric, foam, food, and more. Each student walks through customizing a design file, operating the laser, and engraving/cutting their own object to take home. Completing this class authorizes you to use the tool with membership at Maker Works.

The 80 Watt Epilog Fusion Edge cuts and engraves with exceptional speed and precision. You can think of it as a “computer-controlled beam of light” that can draw, mark, or cut with exceptional detail. At 80 watts, it handles materials that lower-powered lasers can't, including thicker wood and plastic. At 120 IPS, it's one of the fastest CO2 laser engravers on the market, more throughput for production work without sacrificing quality.
