This class will introduce you to the Singer 29K71 Cobbler/Cylinder Arm Sewing Machine. This machine is capable of sewing very heavy fabrics and other materials in very tight areas. You will learn the basic operation with an emphasis on safety. With the successful completion of this class you will be certified to use the Singer 29K71 Cobbler/Cylinder Arm Sewing Machine on your own. 

People under age 16 may take this tool checkout class with their parent/guardian (both adult and minor must register and pay.)  A parent/guardian who has taken the checkout class must also accompany them when operating the tool. Ages 16 and up are encouraged to take checkout classes in any area they wish, with parent/guardian approval.

If you don't have recent experience using a traditional sewing machine, we strongly recommend you take an Introduction to Machine Sewing Workshop, before scheduling this checkout class.
