Spaghetti Bridge Competition

Where: 3765 Plaza Dr, Ann Arbor MI
GOAL: Build the most load-bearing spaghetti (fettucine) bridge.
Some ideas of what your bridge could look like — but there are many more possibilities!
Details
Materials Provided:
100 pieces of Kroger-brand fettucine
Hot glue
Design Requirements:
Must span at least 16 inches
May not brace against the sides of the table
Does not have to look like a bridge!
Only fettucine and hot glue can be part of the final bridge (you may use other tools/materials, like clamps, during construction only)
Tip: We’ll be using a spring scale for testing bridge strength.
Can I bring kids?
Kids are welcome, but many teams are likely to consist of adults!
