GOAL: Build a boat that can travel down an 8ft long waterway the fastest. An electronic fan will blow your boat while it races against another team in a 1v1.

Details

Materials Provided:

• Duct tape

• Paper

• Popsicle sticks

• Glass beads (for weight)

• Melted glue from gluesticks (but you cannot use the gluestick in the structure itself!)

Design Requirements:

• Must float!

• Must be moved by wind!

• Must be under 12in long!

• Gutter is 3.5in wide so the floating portion must fit but the sail can be much larger

• Your boat can accidentally hit the gutter, but it cannot rely on touching the gutter to stay afloat

• The 3in tall gutter will be filled to ~2.5in

• Only the materials listed above can be part of the final contraption
