Tool ZOO Tours!!

Join us at Maker Works for the Tool Zoo! We'll take an after-hours tour around our shop so you can see the tools in action. We’ll demonstrate a variety of things, like 3D printing, laser cutting, wood engraving, and plasma cutting real steel! Each family will take home examples made while you watch. The cost is $5 a person or $8 a family. This tour lasts about an hour. 

The Tool Zoo tour will be appreciated by any age, kids and adults. Children sensitive to loud noises may wish to skip things like the plasma cutter demonstration (makes a loud whoosh noise, but is very pretty). Safety glasses, including children’s sizes, will be provided and are required. Sound attenuating ear protection is also available. Children must be directly supervised by parents.

We would be happy to give you a tour anytime we're open.  No need to call ahead or make a reservation. This type of tour generally lasts 20-40 minutes.
